Welcome to SpiritualSleep — Where Sleep Meets Mindfulness.
If you have ever lain awake at 2 AM, staring at the ceiling and wondering why sleep feels so impossible, you are in the right place. SpiritualSleep was created for people who are tired of being tired and want real, evidence-based answers without confusing medical jargon.

Who Is Behind SpiritualSleep?
I am Dr. Khawar Ghaffar, an MBBS-qualified medical doctor with a clinical focus on sleep health, sleep disorders, and sleep psychology. I have worked with patients struggling with insomnia, sleep apnea, chronic fatigue, and anxiety-driven sleep disruption.
What I noticed in my practice was a consistent gap. Patients had access to medication but not to the lifestyle knowledge, the sleep science, and the practical daily strategies that actually move the needle long term. SpiritualSleep exists to close that gap.
Every article on this site is written or reviewed by me personally, grounded in peer-reviewed research, and informed by real clinical experience.
What You Will Find Here
SpiritualSleep covers four core areas:
Sleep Science — How your brain and body work during sleep, what disrupts it, and what the latest research actually says.
Sleep Hygiene — Practical, actionable habits that improve sleep quality starting tonight.
Nutrition — How what you eat and drink directly affects how well you sleep.
Meditation — Evidence-based breathing and mindfulness techniques that calm the nervous system and prepare the body for rest.
Our Commitment to You

We do not sell miracle cures. We do not promote unproven supplements. We give you the same evidence-based guidance a doctor would give a patient, without the waiting room.
